DROPS Nepal is a lovely, chunky and luxurious yarn spun in 35% superfine alpaca and 65% Peruvian Highland wool, a mix that accentuates the softness of alpaca while the wool contributes to the garments’ shape stability. Both fibres are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fibres’ natural properties, providing also better shape and texture qualities.

Spun from 3 strands, which gives an exciting and rustic stitch definition, DROPS Nepal is an easily knitted/crocheted quality that is also ideal for felting, resulting in garments that have an even and soft surface.

DROPS Nepal contains mixed colours, this means the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives it a mixed effect.

DROPS Nepal ist ein wunderbares, dickes Luxusgarn, das aus 35% Alpaka superfine und 65% Peruanischer Hochlandwolle gesponnen ist. In dieser Mischung kommt die seidige Weichheit vom Alpaka zur Geltung, während die Wolle zur Formstabilität der Kleidungsstücke beiträgt. Die Fasern sind unbehandelt, was bedeutet, dass sie vor dem Färben lediglich gewaschen und nicht chemisch vorbehandelt wurden. So kommen die natürlichen Eigenschaften der Garne am besten zur Geltung und es ergibt sich eine bessere Passform und Textur.

Die Qualität wurde aus 3 Fäden gesponnen und ergibt ein rustikales und schönes Maschenbild. DROPS Nepal ist eine leicht zu verarbeitende Qualität, die auch sehr gut zum Filzen geeignet ist. Die gefilzten Stücke haben eine gleichmäßige und weiche Oberfläche.

DROPS Nepal umfasst auch einige Mixfarben. Diesen Effekt erhält man, wenn man verschiedene Farben beim Kardieren mischt, bevor das Garn gesponnen wird.
